Blanca Nurses consult on a wide array of cases, utilizing their knowledge and understanding of medical and health-related issues to make your job easier and more effective. Their clinical expertise qualifies them to provide over 30 services.

Susan Gallagher, MSN, RN CDP, is the owner, and lead nurse consultant of Blanca Nurse Consultants. Susan graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing in 2004, with a sub-speciality focus area in Gerontological (Geriatric) Nursing.  Susan has a vast amount of knowledge and experience in long-term care (including assisted living, skilled nursing, and wound & ostomy care), and medical-surgical nursing.

Susan has worked in a variety of leadership roles, and understands the intricacy and knowledge needed to monitor and coordinate care for these complex patients, as well as team growth and development.  Susan has been involved in many projects and processes surrounding nursing education, quality improvement, compliance and safety.

She has assisted in improving the standard of care to increase efficiency and compliance for nursing staff while adhering to national compliance standards set forth by JACHO, OSHA, and DHHS.
